Sadly we have to say goodbye

To Xena, who was found dead by her dam's side early yesterday morning. She had always been very small to what we expected but had been cantering round happily the previous day, when she had been seen three times compared to our often once daily check.
Not sure what happened and we may have a post mortem, but we are so sad to have lost such a beautiful filly.
Breeding horses has it's sad side and lately we have discovered that.
