Huge, huge improvement. he is attempting to bend and go softly, a massive difference from the yank and let's gallop attitude of two weeks ago!

Two of my family taking part in the Annual Carnival, my son now aged 20 complained his feet were freezing, but I kept telling him indians didn't wear shoes...!

Very successful lesson, Chris got them to slow down considerably, and towards the end of the lesson he produced some good strides in trot and canter.

Hero is coming along nicely, he is 16 hh but will grow at least an inch yet. He should be ready to sell in about 8 weeks time.

Start of session after lunging, he is quite uptight today and tense...

I have to confess today was one of those days he had no inclination to co-operate whatsoever. After struggling for an hour we have decided the problem may be the bit as he went much better after a change to a straight bar vulcanite snaffle. The vet can also do his teeth, so all options are covered.
On the good side, at least he is beginning to look like an event horse!
