Monty's First Hunter Trial

He absolutely loved it! proving he is a chip of the block he behaved just like his Dad used to, ignoring anything spooky and just flying over the fences. Now to get lots of experience before starting BE eventing in the Autumn.

Jonty in full flight at the Hunter Trial, it was horribly deep mud and she flew round as usual.
The time section was five jumps but sadly a pig-ignorant rider was in front of her and refused to give way so she could pass. She ended up 2 secs out of the rosetttes as a result.
It didn't really matter as the plan was to give her a run round Pontispool before the BE event in two weeks time, but some riders need manners!

By the end of the session he had relaxed and was cantering on almost a loose rein.
